whos more likely to get a asbo in brition?

with class segregation do u think more priviliged kids are less likly to get in to bother or do u think that kids from less priviliged backgrounds have less resorses avalible to them? if thats the case why are youth clubs, community centers only built in and around counsil estates where in better off areas theres not as much for kids to do?

Youth clubs etc. tend to appear in less well off areas because the prevailing attitude to young people in these areas is that they are a problem and need the kinds of provision that may help steer them away from risky lifestyles. Kids from better off families tend to have the money to entertain themselves in other ways and when they do get into bother they also have the necessary family backup to get them out of it. For example I've worked in state schools and private schools, the kids in both are just as much into illegal drugs and alcohol as each other. The poorer kids however have to rob others to get what they want whereas those in Private education simply use their pocket money. When they get caught the poorer kids get asbo's, community service, detention etc. whereas the wealthier kids get off with it because daddy plays golf with the chief superintendent.

People who have a gang - or a large group of friends - people who have nothing else to do than to hang around streets are most likely to get a asbo. They don't have anything to do - they get bored and mess about. Privileged kids will not be bored as they get what they want so will not be the likely ones to get an Asbo.
