I have never found a way to clean them effectively that is not a huge hassle, but I have to admit I haven't really tried all that hard, so any ideas you have will probably be new to me.

Dryer sheets make it very easy to dust. If real dirty, I recommend using a sponge along with a mild detergent and warm water solution. Blot dry. I hope this helps. Good luck.

My house is filled with mini blinds.Although they are pretty to look at,they gather grease and dust quite quickly, and dusting alone will not get them clean.First of all, go out to any supermarket, and buy a product called "Greased Lightning."It is, hands down, the best product to cut through all the grime that builds up on mini blinds. The best place to clean them, is in your shower. It can be difficult to hold them up,and spray them at the same time,so I bought a hand held sprayer that attaches to the tub faucet.I also bought ,from a catalog, something called "Mini Maids" they are suction cups that attach to your mimi blinds and sucks to the wall of your shower to hold the mini blinds up,so you can spray them.if you have a soft pom pom style tiolet brush, you will find that useful to swish the Greased Lightning around on the slats to help remove the dirt. When you rinse all the grime away, leave the blinds hanging in the shower to dry.You will have your blinds back in great shape, clean, and dust free.I know that this sounds like alot of work, but it only takes a few minutes. You can find the "Mini Maids" brackets from a company called Design Life Products,Inc.out of Highland Park Il.They may have a websight so you can order them.Good Luck.

The easiest way to have your blinds cleaned is to have a business that has a ultrasonic blind cleaner do them for you. It cost about $15 per blind, but well worth it if they haven't been done for awhile. It beats tying to do them by hand! They come to your house, so there is no hassle getting them loaded up. They wash the windows while they're here making it less work for me!

cleansing Mini-Blinds—Dusting with a lambswool duster is the final thank you to maintain them airborne dirt and dust loose and is great preventive cleansing. do no longer use a feather duster because of the fact it extremely is going to only turn the airborne dirt and dust around. yet to get rid of heavier soiling from the blinds together as they're nevertheless putting on the window, blend up a answer of two/3 water and a million/3 liquid fabric softener. donning white cotton gardening gloves, spray the answer onto the blinds and wipe with gloved palms. Tilt the blinds first one way and then the different. conventional dusting with the lambswool duster removes maximum heavy duty cleansing. the fabric softener blend will dodge static electricity which will help get rid of airborne dirt and dust enhance.

i have found that sudsy amonia works great. its cheap and easy. hang the blinds up (or lay them out in the driveway) and spray them. let it set for a few minutes but don't let it dry. brush with a soft brush(i use our carwash brush) and rinse or dunk in the bathtub. hang to dry.
