Fox News = oxymoron.

As a retired journalist, I can tell you that whatever Faux News is, it's not news. Maybe entertainment ... maybe right-wing extremist political propaganda ... maybe some kind of sick joke ... but definitely not news.

All news reporting is biased, by the very nature that it is written and performed by people.

FOX has news programming that runs from insanely dumb to very intelligent (some of their financial news magazine shows are excellent).

They do cover some nonsense, but no worse than any other cable news network.

At this point in the game though, you shoudl understand that there is so much media around that the outlets can tailor their story angles to hit a target market. And thats what you get with FOX. Which is why their ratings are so high.

Its a matter of spin. There is a huge demand for Fox from people who have for generations have complained about the liberal spin of the other networks particularly CBS and Dan Rather. Liberals used to have complete control of the dissemination of the news which includes what to feature and what to under-report or not report at all.

Dan Rather hated George Bush so much he wanted to effect to outcome of the 2004 Presidential Election by using sources he knew were not trust worthy.

You will never catch Fox doing that. Real journalists work there. Rather got fired for that stunt but ask yourself, what else has he done in the past and has gotten away with? There is a great book about this called Bias by Bernard Goldman. He used to work for CBS News and Dan Rather.

Fox News is so biased it will report that Weapons of Mass Destruction were found. When they weren't. and then have the gall to critizing the rest of the media for not repeating the misleading and distroted story..

here is a great place to find out why,

According to an independent UCLA study if you want to get balanced news you have to watch Brit Hume on Fox AND World News Tonight to get balanced news. All Media is bias to the left with the exception of Fox who leans right. (Study in Sources)

Isn't it odd to you the constant barrage Fox takes for being one conservative outlet amongst fifty liberal ones? It makes you wonder why they're so offended!!! Is the liberal media telling you to be offended? It must be as most of you claim not to watch it. How else would you get this information?

Fox News is like an extension of the Bush administration. Their news reporting is weak and shallow. As an example, they will trash an entire foreign nation simply because its people sees things differently in regards to politics. They also love to make little sniping remarks regarding democrats whenever they can. I can't stand that channel.

Most of the news is shallow and polemic. The media rehashes things, extrapolates and bends the hell out of the truth (just short of libel or slander) and moreover is controlled by foreign companies...videos, news, movies and even the anchors of national networks.

Cable Fox News is the least biased but is still slanted a little to the left.

Nearly everyone who voted for Bush watched Fox news or CNN. It is controlled by Zionists and what a coincidence bush is a good friend of Israel. He gets on the good side of them so he gets good coverage and is voted as president. Always look at the opposite sides news. In Lebanese news for example they all said hizballahs kidnapping was a mistake but praised their efforts fighting off the israelis. Even the leader Nasrallah apologized. Meanwhile on CNN and Fox all they did was say hizballah violated israels border and kidnapped 2 soldiers and sent rocket attacks into israel.
