I am often told that I am somebody with outstanding listening skills.

One of my greatest sources of satisfaction is in deeply understanding people and their needs, and then artfully creating and brokering "deals" between people in a way that the needs of everybody involved are taken care of. I am only satisfied when everybody involved is winning in some way, and will not broker deals where somebody involved is losing.

Hee Hee - I like bounty hunter!
You could try recruitment agencies as headhunter, Marriage Guidance Counsellor, Probation Officer, or set yourself up as a business adviser - specialising in arbitration.
Sounds like you'd make a good friend! - a good person to talk to.

There is an increase in 'neighbours from hell' and many councils need people to work with families that do not know how to live in a community, there's a real challenge! Doesn't pay much though.

Sounds like counselling or some form of consultancy would suit. Have you tried speaking with career advice people, they can profile you and suggest suitable occupations. Or maybe try DIY, go down local library and look up company profiles and see what kinds people they employ and then focus on that niche.

There are also business courses to consider or look up local training courses to identify where such skills are key, healthcare sounds possible from whay you say. Good luck, let us know how it turns out.

Try studying for a councillor or work voluntary for the Samaritans. There is also social work which active listening is an intregal part of the job. and what young people need is for someone to listen, advise and guide them. Give it a go.

Sales, sales and more sales! The best sales people (any product) are those that listen, hear and interpret what the customers are saying. They hear the "need" and find products to fill it. They (best sales people) are problem solvers!

Remember, good companies are always looking for good sales people and in today's market (and it's very good, don't let the news get you down, employers can't find people with unemployment at 5%!) companies of all types and products are looking to fill their sales jobs.

Good luck!

A high school counselor is a great job for your skills. You would be helping young people apply for scholarships, choose colleges, plan careers, etc. Most importantly, you get a lot of time off in the summer!

ever seen a matrix of 3x6? if you refer 3 people to this business, your sign up fee and monthly membership are paid back to you..... meaning that you break even AND your business is FREE!!

the CEO of the company, Ben Glinsky, claims that the matrix will be full in 6 months time... leaving you with an income of $1092 for just being a member... on a monthly basis....... or more if you sign up more people....

the real money in this is in the powerpools and matching bonuses.... you can earn up to $11000 or more in 6 months time.

how is that for a win-win situation??

If you are good at talking as well. find some thing you beleive in and sell it. I know aloe vere is great and has helped me. so sell Aloe with F.L.P.Meet people and help people with the same problems I had. There are loads of products you can have fun with, and direct sales can be fun as well as profitable.
