Yeah, the guy was a lousy businessman. He made all these statues for tourists, but not only did no one show up (poor advertising) they were too big to put on a boat! Not to mention there was no variety, no color change, no style change. I mean come on! A beret and a cigarette would have sold the French! How about some grass seed and make Chia Easter Island Heads!

This island was discovered by Europeans on Easter Sunday. The Polynesians discovered it long before the Europeans.
