I never thought of it that way but now that you mentioned it, our oldest is more like me and our second is more like my wife. That's weird. Thanks of creeping me out.

I don't think that always applies. I am the first born and about the only thing my dad and I have in common is that we are both Aquarius. I am a lot more like my mom than my Dad. My younger brother, on the other hand, is just like my dad. Maybe your case applies when the oldest is a boy and the younger sibling is the girl?

I saw something on some nature show that said with most mammals the first born takes after the father physically in order for the father not to kill the offspring. Maybe its the same with people so the father does not doubt the paternity of his child.

I don't think that is true. Sorry. I just sat here and thought about all the families that I could and genetically or behaviorally it just didn't equal out.
First borns are usually more stressed and second children are more laid back because of the parents and how they relax more in parenting as time goes by.

It's different for everyone. My first born takes after me a lot more than her dad.

The man usually climaxes first the first time round, and the woman climaxes first the second time round.

It's ironic that I thought of something similar to this just last night. Right, now, I know what you're thinking, but I was not in bed with anyone and wasn't lonely either....

I'm first born and I take after Mom. My younger sis is a Daddy's girl. With my kids, my eldest and 3rd take after me, my 2nd is just like his Daddy. It has nothing to do with birth order and more to do with sex and temperment.

Not true in our case......my son(only child & I am the mom) is my little clone. He looks just like me. The only thing he got from his dad is long eye lashes.

Me, myself is the 3rd born in my family and I look just like my father.

I haven't found this to be the case. I think it's just the luck of the genes, sometimes all the children can be like dad, sometimes none like him. There's no rule or formula here.
