My computer came with an integrated Nvidia GeForce 6150, but the sales rep at the store I bought it at told me that basically all integrated graphics cards suck. Therefor, I took an ATI Radeon 9200 PCI card out of another computer and threw it in my new one. Was this a good choice, or was the Nvidia better quality?

I would stay away from integrated graphics whenever possible. Integrated graphics cards have many downfalls. They do not have their own memory, they "borrow" it from the main memory. You cannot upgrade your video card later. If something goes wrong with the video component of the board, the entire board must be replaced.

My experience shows that nVidia is a more widely supported video card and they update their drivers more often. They are very stable chipsets (most of them).

I think in this case, I would skip both of these and move on to something else. Get a mother board that has a graphics card slot and buy an nVidia card.

Usually Inbuilt graphic card comes with low memory on it. Therefore makes it diffcult latest high end games.

Mostly everyone considers external graphic card over inbuilt it graphic card due to it extra features.

I prefer using external one.

There also one thing Nvidia is considered by most of the user because of its availability of latest patches and driver updates.

and I'm too using ATi 9200 series AGP graphic card and till now no problems.

Geforce 6150 is better. The best card in town is ATI radeon 1900 XTX
