This is a carpet spray used by the fitters when they put the carpet down. The glue is still on the laminate after I have taken the carpet up.

Goo-Gone or WD-40. WD-40 can take spraypaint off a car without damaging the original paint. Test it first on a scrap.

i have used wd40 on stuff like that, and also rubbing alcohol, spray the wd40 over the area and use a scotch brite pad to rub it in and around, it will feel like its getting slimey, by this you know its working, the wd40 has an oil base so to clean it off you will have to use a good soap like Dawn or 409 cleaner, then rinse, if however that dont work, have you ever used the alcohol to get really sticky stickers off stuff you buy? use the same method with the alcohol as i said with the WD40, one or the other should work but you may have to go to a hardware store where they sell adhesives and get an adhesive remover, hope these tips help kay

several products may work here, Nail Polish Remover, Orange Oil, Goo Gone, Rosinol Lighter Fluid, test each in an inconspicuous place and see which works best and doesn't stain or damage the laminate.

Soak it in a solution of warm dilute washing up detergent then use white spirit and a wallpaper scraper, I had the same problem and this was the only thing which removed it without buying all sorts of commercial products. Good luck

Try "Goo-Gone". It usually does a good job removing anything sticky. You can get it at many stores usually near the cleaning supplies.

And since you're using all those harsh chemicals on your laminate, don't forget to reseal it afterwards with a few coats of urethane!
