I've recently been re-acquainted with a girl who broke my heart 30 years ago - the decisions I took then were the right ones - trust yourself. If someone is prepared to break your heart when you are young - then they will also be prepared to do it again later on in life.

Just allowing youself to grieve and looking after yourself. Keep busy, excercise is a good boost. Remind yourself every day that you wont feel like this for ever. Do something new that wont remind you of him, lean on friends and family, cry loads and laugh too. You will get through it xx

Time heals and memories live forever!
Lots of friends that make you laugh.. new hobbies/interests... don't mingle with the old crowd (keep in touch but don't hang around).
Read lots of Jackie Collins books - that'll keep your mind off him!

Find anreplacement, even if its short term.
Go out with friends - keep occupied - and don't think about it if possible.
It's happened to all of us, and we all got over it
