how can i get rid off this spyware?

program entered my comp sayin it is infected, and I need to do this scan. it is just a scam to make you buy their program but i cant delete it or find it. i have norton. my friend last time got rid off it by back date my comp to a day where that program was not in my comp. i do not know how to do that and my friend is away. HELP. its the most annoying program ever. HELP

thing is when u hit system restore u don't know why u got it the site u need to know what to avoid or u will hit it again an if any crap before u had will come back system restore.. now u wasn't to specific. there are adds out there w window comes up and says ur system is infected and it blinks and waves the box don't hit it!! its is not in ur program it is an add and yea they give u crap to buy it or to try it but they give u it to begin with so make sure u have lavasoft to get rid of keyloggers load it free http://www.lavasoft.de/ then scan it tell u got it ex" cookies etc then u select items and delete it when its quarantined delete that quarantine as well .. there is very tricky adds saying ur system is infected unless u know u have that program do not open it..

When your computer suddenly becomes very slow, it takes forever to shut down or you are suddenly getting a lot of popups when you didn't before... those could all be signs of someone else using your computer.

Try system restore, under start/all programs/accessories/system tools/system restore

Do not use Spybot or adaware, they are both trojans and add their own spyware.
