No way. What legitimate reason is there for changing our flag at the moment? Perhaps if one day we cease being a Commonwealth country we should redesign it so we do not have a Union Jack on it, but for now we are what we are.

Absolutely. But first Australia has to declare itself a Republic and get rid of the old royalist nonsense. Then Australia should get a new flag that represents the nation of Australia -- one that makes Australia look like something more than a simple step-child of Great Britain

Uh huh! The Australian flag is too similiar to the flag of the country that booted them out in the first place.

I think the Poms should stop using the top left hand corner of the Aussie flag.

No, the flag is OK. What I don't much like is the fact that the Aborigines have to have their own one. If they want to be truly equal in society then shouldn't we all be under one flag regardless of race, colour etc.??

no, its a wonderful flag that is instantly recognisable with the Southern Cross and the Union Flag reminds of its origins and history.

Yes, I like the Aboriginal one actually and hope we become a republic very soon. We got rid of God Save The Queen, it is time for us to be individual and break ties with England completely.
