By being vigilant.
If you suspect someones rights are being abused talk to someone in authority about your concerns and make them listen.
So many times sadly adults dont take young people seriously.
Always talk to at least 2-3 different people who deal with these matters .
At least one if not all will listen and decide the next course of action
I am so glad to see that our young people still care.
Have a wonderful day.

Be informed. Understand the laws and the constiution. Fight for the rights of those who are being used and abused. I am in favor of the ACLJ, The American Center for Liberty and Justice. They fight for civil liberties all over America. The opposition is The ACLU, The American Civil Liberties Union. Study the difference. Know where you stand. And stand behind the laws you believe in. Examples: ACLJ would help and support you legaly if you were denied the right to have a nativity scene in your yard or town while others are allowed the right to have a Santa Parade or a Gay Parade. The ACLU would fight for those who do not want to allow a nativity scene. These battles for American freedom and human rights of every kind are being battled out in the courts every day. Get involved. Get other students involved. Inform your community.
Thanks for the question.

Human rights as a whole is a huge job to tackle. you might feel more accomplished if you broke off pieces and assigned them to like minded people who are as concerned as you. I love it that you're getting involved and are enlightened to throw it out to a bunch of strangers, to possibly help you. But again you have to focus and thenstart paying attention to everything that's going on. Right now is a great time to start becoming vigilant in your beliefs as there are elections right around the corner and you can see who puts their money where their mouth is. Some suggestions would be to volunteer for a candidate who'd opinion you respect and see who they deal with human rights issues. From there you can choose between 100's of options. You can feel your way around - do you want kids rights? The elderly? people of color, gays, battered women, illiterate? There's all kinds of people that
need a voice.
