Hi, you are combining two different things:
1) The great Ming Dynasty Admiral Zheng He. In the early 1400s as part of an "outward" policy to help the new Ming Dynasty compensate for the loss of trade due to their failure to reestablish Chinese control over the land trade route (the silk road.) The Admiral led a fleet of over 400 ships in a series of voyages to S.E. Asia, India and Eastern Africa. All of this about 70 years before Columbus or Vasco De Gama. The records of the these voyages were carefully kept, and the places they visited and "discovered' can be identified today. No voyage was made to America as there was no trade or knowledge of another continent. After the death of the Yong Le Emperor (who supported these voyages) the fleet was disbanded as a policy of the Neo-Confucian scholars. You can read about the voyages here: http://www.chinavoc.com/history/ming/zh.htm
2) In 2003 author Gavin Menzies published a "book" 1421 the Year China Discovered America. Like the Da Vinci code, this author took: a lot of recent serious scholarship on the Ming Fleet that had been published in historical journals, but had not had any play in the "popular" press, took long standing "alternative" histories based on folk narratives and put them together in a phony book that made a lot of money, but did nothing to help people understand the complex world connections BEFORE Columbus. In fact his book has been debunked many times: http://www.kenspy.com/Menzies/index.html
So although it is true that there was a great Chinese explorer before Columbus who sailed a huge fleet out into the world on a voyage of discovery, it is not true that the Chinese discovered America. It is also important to remember that neither did Columbus. he sailed west to find China (which he thought he had.) It is only at the end of his life after his third voyage that he begins to believe he has found a "New" world.

According the Author Gavin Menzies discovered America in 1421 during the Ming Dynasty. It was Admiral Zhou Man who discovered Americas. And Admiral Zhang He explored the African coast, Australia, and the Southern Pacific's.

That would be the Chinese Admiral Zheng He. There are many historical texts recorded his travel to Asia and Africa. But whether he had been to America, that's an interesting topic.
A British author, Gavin Menzies, wrote a book titled "1421 The Year China Discovered the World" saying that Zheng He did. If you're open minded and curious enough, do read up this book. You don't have to agree with him, but give it a try.

I can only confirm what some other already said.
Chinese Admiral Zheng He.
And the theory of ex-submariner Gavin Menzies. A well documented book but when you search the Internet there are a lot of critics that his arguments are not completely correct. Discussion to be continued.
If you read the book, you will learn a lot about navigation and Chinese technology. For that alone its ok to read it. The conclusions you must make for yourself.
