Now I thought I had worded it carefully starting with "I think you need to be over 50 to answer this" note the I think.I wanted to word it so that I did not get answers like "how do you expect us to know what Noah played in his ark,we are young" but I had a few answers that said " I'm not over 50 but I do know"Great,but I got one answer that said i should not of asked in that way.My question is how should I have posed that question for it to be correct?I want to be able to please everybody all of the time.

You might have said, "Does anyone remember the sixties?" or "Any fans of sixties music"
PS I did not find your question, or how you asked it, to be offensive in any way, some people are hypersensitive.

No offence taken LOL over 50 isn't the end of the world you know!!!!!! in fact the closer it gets the better it looks!!

Nothing wrong with the way you asked the question, I think its just that some people have a great worry about getting older, and hate seeing a figure near their own age actually IN PRINT..

This comment will probably be taken the wrong way too by some folks, even though its meant humourously.....

Hi Lady Jane,

You've wasted 5 points;
there is no way you can
please everybody at any time,
let alone all the time.

There is Freedom of Expression
and your question was quite easily
understood, and you got the needed
answer.

There will always be those who just
don't get what this Yahoo Answers
is about: trying to help and sharing.

Ignore them and have a wonderful
remains of the day!

I just looked at that question and i'm 25 and know that song - the point is if you're desperate to know something, why put limits on who can answer the question? We all know things that others might not expect us to know.

"You might need to be over 50 to answer this" might work! But remember, no matter how hard you try, you can't please everybody all of the time.

Is that petty or what?
Perhaps you shouldn't have presumed age, and it was regarded as ageist!
I had no problem with your question.
