Probably atheists as we have scientific proof that science does exist in place of a god, where as religious followers only have religious books which may or may not be accurate.
That having been said i believe religious followers will follow their beliefs more blindly. I think on the whole atheists at one point were religious, or had some experience with religion and decided it was false. No religious person i have ever met has been an atheist then changed their mind in favour of religion.

Are applers more fruitful than the lettucers?
Who is more certain of their lettuce and unwilling to stray from such?
Every human being is a believer. No human can function without belief. One day a thought was presented to us. Up this morning, a thought of coffee. Coffee or no? I said yes. I fixed a pot. You said no and went on to another thought.
One day the question came up; Is there a God?
You said no (maybe based on a lot of nos). I said yes (maybe based on a lot of yeses). This, like the coffee, is belief.
You have a path in your brain. It is like a Y in the road. A question or thought sets up the path.
Some take one path, some take the other. The path lays out choice. Belief determines the choice. Coffee or no coffee, God or no God, etc., or no etc.
Webster defines faith as unquestioning belief and throws in trust as a synonym for the latter.
Many Christians think that faith is trust. Your question indicates unquestioning belief. Are we talking about the same thing? I think not.
Faith and unquestioning belief are two different things. Let's say you have a personal or a business relationship involving trust. Trust can be broken while unquestioning belief goes on with the fool that guides it.
There are Christian who think that faith is unquestioning belief. The best thing that can happen to them is to have a pot full of atheists dumped on their heads.
Answer: Nobody is more certain in belief. You either believe or you don't. You can pause and ponder and debate but you are just a pretender. (Big in Hollywood).
Since, by definition and question, faithful is just belief with a lot of strain, effort and manly grunts. (or womanly assertions) I must say again that atheists are no more faithful than believers?
IT IS A DRAW as your question is stated.

The same list of mistakes I see repeatedly, on this question.
Scientists are the antithesis of dogmatists. The whole project is based around experimentation, verifiability, and falsifiability. If a God appeared tomorrow, was witnessed in the appropriate ways ... scientists would give up their views that no such God exists.
The religious dogmatist will never change their views however. Their claims are beyond experience and unfalsifiable. Theology for the last century works simply on the modest project of apologetics... to make faith a reasonable proposition, which it is not, because of lack of evidence, lack of consistency, lack of physical possibility.
We've dangled the truth in front of everyone for centuries and they can't give up this old barbarism. Of course the faithful are more faithful than the scientist... they have the scribblings of some very dodgy old book, in poor literary style, depicting non-historically based events, and base their belief in a God on this ancient text.
Faith is different from belief. Of course we all find ourselves believing something. Faith is different. If you can't see that faith is based on slipshod premises, like a gambler believing the roulette wheel will end on #3, then you've just missed the point. There are reasons to believe. The scientist does not have reasons to believe there is a Santa Claus either. Given the evidence, SC appears to be a well-documented conspiracy. However a religious dogmatist who believes in SC will believe he exists no matter how many beards you pull off pillow-packing men.
That's the difference.

I'm not sure to what you refer, faithful to??? From my perspective atheists are generally kinder, more understanding and maintain an open mind. Of course, this is a generality. So many develop such a staunch belief in their relgion that they easily anger and oftimes will tell atheists to go to hell. That, to me, is unchristianlike. It's simply silly to tell someone, 'I'm right and you're wrong and if you don't believe me you can burn throughout eternity.'
While many religious folks feel they are certain about their beliefs they don't seem to be able to explain them well to others without quoting passages from the Bible. I sometimes wonder if they understand what they quote or if they use it for a defense shield to protect them from realizing they don't understand what they believe in. Most atheists are willing to listen openly and attempt to understand what prompts this faith.
Personally I think the religion/atheist situation is simply part of a journey of understanding. Many begin life in a religion then realize portions simply don't make sense to their mind and they question until they leave the church and proclaim atheism. Many atheists question until they realize there is no other answer than a creator and return to an organized religion. Many proclaim to be spiritual and look at what is logical and inspiring in all faith systems and continue to study life and its meaning until the day they transition from physical existence.

Some believers stick to the dogmas they were brought up with, some cycle between different religions. Some atheists have a religious devotion to some dogma, such as Marxism. Some are open to new thoughts.
On average, I think atheists are more open-minded than believers but it's really something personal.

YES. Atheists are the worst religion of all. They don't understand not believing is a believe. If you follow a believe then you are a religious moran. They are so ignorant but they are there for every free meal. If they don't believe in anything then they shouldn't benefit from any science or god. .. ahh they are just bunch of idiots..

I am a Catholic so I guess I am one of those so called "believers".
Anyway, I'd think that people who believe have stronger faith than atheists because atheists believe only in facts. In short, it would take one to have a lot of faith to believe in something he/she can not hear/touch/see/smell. Therefore, once you are a believer, you automatically have a stronger faith than atheists.
Let's say that an atheists received miracles as he/she requested upon it. I would assume that he/she may be able to change his/her atheist ways.
However, believers have been hanging on to their faith even without proof all there life.
Remember that for atheists, they say "To see is to believe"
But for believers, they say "To believe is to see"
