seems like every other question is about a computer being infected by a trojan, viruses, or spyware. Aren't you getting tired of answering people that have no clue on securing their computer and yet, download illegal, and sometimes infected programs, files from the internet? I think people should do their research into securing their comps and know that limewire, ares could contain virues that disable their computers. any thoughts? Thanks.

Carefullness is the first thing that very internet user should emphasize on.
But, sometime only carefullness doesn't work. Now a days there are so many security threat around us. U will never know when your computer is breached.
It is better to use One Firewall, Antivirus and Spy sweeper on your system. Its not a gurantee that you will be free from threat by using these but, it will help you to reduce threat around you.

i I'm a security freak to but we can all make mistakes
and i I'm always trying to be the best protected i can but even that dont seem enough
i think people or a good software company should write a new program for self defence
maybe by using a mutating code or something like that
i know that motant codes are by viruses but anyone that an attack is best defence
so resuming we should write an antivirus virus
so if something try to infect than we sould be abble of melt the attackerws core down or something like hope taht this a day can be true

Been dealing with people like this for years, what makes me laugh is that people will bring their computers into my shop and its loaded with adaware, spybot, AVG, AVAST and many other bogus programs, but mean while their computers are infected with multiple malware, spyware and trojans. Then I format their machine and they go and do the same thing again and get infected. well this site is for questions hun.. yea amazing how people own a comp and don't know or trust things out there.. i remember the 1st scare i got from a dude sending me a song thru messenger thank god i had a firewall up and it alerted me i swore up and down at the jerk he had no idea he said he had a bug so i stopped it but so many people trust anything one is myspace lol so many people add the "rocker" music band member and is an advertising gimmick. The mcafee firewall has a tracker right down to a persons IP and city where its from lol amazing. people use the net fro chatting games etc and 1st they should learn about crap my fav site to keep knowledge is http://www.doxdesk.com/ and the guy who worked for http://www.pcmag.com has his own lil site is awesome about sites and comp stuff is http://www.techdirt.com/ which a lot of busineses an new yorkers read ..

Well, if we were all perfect and did the right thing every time, this world would be a boring place.
Instead of berating people for being human and making mistakes why not use your knowledge to help those that have.
People don't learn by being belittled and made to feel foolish, they learn by being treated as with tolerance, respect and patience.

yes I agree,they just dont take the time to install any protection. I guess they think it cant happen to them.
