I own a e-machine pc, i've had it for about 2 - 2 1/2 years now. It was working just recently then all of a sudden when I turned it on, the only thing that seems to be working is just the fan from the processor. The power supply seems to be working (cause I see the fan from the power supply spinning) , but other then that nothing else seems to be working.

It sounds like your motherboard is dead. If your computer beeps when it starts up, count the beeps. That could tell you what is wrong. Check out the manual or the e-machine website what it is.

It could also be another part that died. Try to remove anything you don't need (soundcard, networkcard). If it works, replace them one by one until you find out which one is causing the problem.

It's a long shot, but you could also try removing the battery (again, check the manual where you can find that) and replacing it again. That will reset your BIOS.

Whatever you do make sure you unplug the power to your computer if you open it.

If that is happening first listen for a beep when you boot up this is called a ram beep. Then is the light on your monitor yellow, green or off completely. then you can narrow your problem from there. if you get no ram beep then it is your mother board more than likely (no big deal 50$ at newegg.com) if your monitor isn't working than your video card maybe. Reguardless you need to know what is working and what isn't. check those things and then let us know :)
