its a really great story - one of my most favourite classics. i would suggest you read the story yoursefl. i think you will enjoy it and will also love doing the project.
for growing interest, you can try watching the movie released last year featuring Keira Knightley as Elizabeth Bennet. the 1995 version (which was shown as a mini series) featuring Colin Firth can give you a much detailed story line.
