First of all, I am a teacher and I can tell you that your science problems are NOT your problem. Science is not being taught right. Teachers and principles and deans and school boards and employers all over the world are very worried about this problem. The most important thing that I can tell you is, do not let go of someday learning about basic science on your own or when we can teach it better. Remember something. Science is only a tool, like a microscope or math or a wrench. What science, as a tool, does is looks clearly at the world and nature and yourself and life and the great and mysterious secrets of the universe. Please, darling, woman to woman, don't confuse the beauty and wonder of learning about the world around us with the awful problems and mistakes we are experiencing with simply the TEACHING of the tool of science. Don't you dare miss out on learning about Nature. For now, talk DAILY with your teacher AND principle AND parent until someone does their job and teaches you what you have a right to learn right!

If you are really bad at science then you should opt for something else to study. If not then take a break from science for a while. Relax. Your brain is filled with too many information just clear it up for a while and then come back to science. Try different more interesting ways to study and change school or something.

Science requires a lot of logic. Some people devoted an entire lifetime to discovering everything about one small part of science; and you are expected to learn it at first glance. Some people (who are people people?) like emotional situations rather than logic. For example would you prefer to hear about a baseball pitcher's statistics or his juicy divorce? Don't be dismayed. The trick is to get science from your short term memory to your long term memory. Take simple notes of terminology and ideas as they are presented in class, including simple sketches from the board. Even one review of your notes (before you forget everything!) will greatly improve your long term memory for a test. We live in a highly technical world and most of the science you study will directly affect you; whether you understand it or not. Better to understand it and control it rather than be under its control and at its mercy, right? Your job isn't to be good at science but to be better than you were at it each and every day; if you want the grades. Good luck.

Concentrate on the concepts of science, scientific method, and scientific thinking.
Eventually you will see that memory will fit into a pattern. This makes science much easier than, for example, languages where there are so many exceptions that rules are difficult.

One of the reasons for this could be that you do not like the subject. To solve this problem you must develop a scientific attitude like you have to reason or argue about a scientific problem which will take you into the depth of the subject and will definately increase your interest in it. Thats what I do when I get irritated by a scientific problem.

it OK just (chill) it's normal for a woman to not be good at science and math. women usually do better in English and sociology . believe it or not this is biological. there are always exceptions. just take your time. i got into science and technology because i enjoyed it. if you really want to learn it just take your time with it and learn to enjoy learning new scientific facts. one of my favs is astronomy. there is a hearing being held on the 24th to discuss the possible addition of 3 more planets to our solar system making the total 12.

different people have different sorts of brains! If you're rubbish at science I'd bet you're good at creative writing or art.
