The next of kin can request a copy of the report if they so wish. The time it takes will depend on the case. If it is a suspicious death, for example, it could take many months.
The ordinary PM can take a day to a week to be done on average.

I don't know about the length of time it takes to get the results of the post mortem but you could ring the coroner. Try looking at the law society website which lists all the solicitors and firms in the country for one in your area

Toxicology is a lot greater complicated than in basic terms blood attempting out. it may contain bone marrow, thoughts tissue and a bunch of alternative issues finding on what's stumbled on on the time of dying and if there seems to be rationalization for an huge learn. Very thorough lab tests can take weeks to months finding on what's being looked for, how undemanding the contaminant is and how busy the labs are.

It depends if the person died of a suspicious death or natural causes. Give the Medical Examiner a call, they are always happy to explain things to you.

Did Gertrude die happy then?
(You know, you shouldn't have taken that "shag her to death" advice quite so literally!)
