Do a school project or write an essay for school about the benefits of body piercing, how the tribal and cultural needs of the individual are met etc etc etc especially if it is an umbilical piercing.
Put in how people who do not tattoo or body pierce are cowardly wuss-bags
Remember to include about how safe it is with modern sterilization techniques which all body piercing parlours use these days and how we have really good treatment for Hep B and HIV now. Include a section on treatment of Hepatitis B with immunoglobulins and immunomodifiers, and Highly Active AntiRetroviral Treatment for HIV/AIDS with multiple classes of antiretrovirals.
Get good marks for the project.
Show your mom this project and your school report with good grades.
Your permission to have your navel pierced will be forthcoming.

show her how responsible u are do things without her askin and dont bring up the percin for a while and then ask her after a short time has passed
