if you have attained menopuse then this condition is called post menopusal bleeding.
ultrasound is the part of workup but biopsy will give the final answer.you have not said what is your dr's provisinal diagnosis. ask him /her. dr will explain you . if you have not asked your dr till now pl ask now.if you had written your age and reports of all the investigations done till now and their report then more precise answer could have been given however any of the following could be the cause for bleeding-
*cervicitis ,that is infection of the cervix of uterus
*polyp of the cervix, that is a growth of tissue on the cervix
*any abnormality of vagina
*any polyp of the uterus
whatever it is since you are taking treatment your dr will diagnose the disease and advise you properly,donot get scared and put your doubts to your dr.
if you donot get satisfactory answer change your dr.

Well your not pregnant and I dont think your gonna die otherwise youd have more symptoms than this.
So dont stress too much and try not to sress yourself or you will make yourself feel worse. try to rest up till then
