USE AVG BLACK THUNDER FIREWALL PRO , its really a top secret firewall/antivirus that no one has ever heard or even u cant get a word of it from any of the site .
It contains hexa layered firewall with multiple powered antivirus which even a hacker cant hack. U can get it from only one site , that u must find on ypur own.

Download AVG Anti-Virus and Spybot. You might also want to couple that with Alluria for added protection--should you want it.
It's $30 for a 2-sub for AVG 7.1 and the Spybot is free.
I have two of the three and they've done a remarkable job keeping my system bug and virus free.
I used Alluria last year and it was a pretty awesome bit of PC security. But my system died of a virus which overrode all my security programs and corrupted Alluria. (See: Not *everything* is secure.)
The list you have posted isn't so secure. Norton's the worst of them all, and Windows One Care still has some bugs to work out.
McAfee Internet Suite (like its predecessor programs) burns up waaay to much processing power and slows down your computer to a veritable crawl.
Zone Alarm and Prev are just "cloner" security programs which don't do much for your computer.
The same with Panda and F-Secure.

Try a hardware firewall and a good antivirus program like Nortons,Panda or McAfee. A hardware firewall is built into most broadband routers or a Linux computer with the right software can also be used as a firewall. If you have any questions email me.

Norton is good for antivirus but slows way down after four to six months.
Mcafee blocks things you might need like newsgroup conversations.
Prevx1 Expert functions OK
Zone alarm is the best home user firewall out there.
Panda platinum works but updates are slow and not always soon enough before an infection.
Windows Live One Care is good but it's Microsoft.
Personally I use avg antivirus and zonealarm. Nothing slows down and I have missed any trojans or viruses in any scans.
