Yes, I always do that and I'm always disappointed at the end that the show didn't redeem itself from it's crappy beginning.

It is hard for me to get into t.v. I am more of a music person, so if it was crappy from the begining I wouldve already lost the interest!! In other words no I wouldn't finish watching it!

Only if I thought it would get better and some movies do, especially if they're slow in the beginning. I usually give a film at least 30-45 min to redeem itself, after that I'm outtie.

Now if the movie's just plain dumb, my survival instincts come into play and I have no other choice but to walk away in order to preserve my sanity.

Yes, there is always a chance that the movie might turn out to be good at some point. The last 1/2 hour of Descent for instance, was surprisingly good. Same thing with Alien, the first hour was boring, then it turned awesome.

I would have, to find out if only the beginning is crappy.
If by halfway it's still crappy, I would still stay and enjoy the aircon in the cinema. If at home, then I will just switch to cable or grab a pizza from the fridge.

No, if a movie doesn't catch my attention in the first 20 minutes, I will walk out, if at the movies, or I will turn it off at home.

Yeah I probably would, because I'm always curious to see how it ends or if it gets better. But if it's scary or gory then I wouldn't!
