Depends on your internet connection. If you're in a office then you're probably on a T3 or T1 connection. If you have a dial-up connection ( i.e, if you use a modem to dial a number via the telephone line) then better ditch downloading larg files (>2 mb) as it is too slow. Finally, if your connection doesn't fall into the above two cases then its a DSL/Cable connection.

How are you connecting to the net?

If it's from home, then it's likely from a cable/dsl speed modem.

If it's from work, then you may have a T1 or even T3 connection.

If you are asking then I would go with the cable/dsl as you would be paying much more for t3/t1!

it will all depend on what you have home your internet connection speed. Basicly I would say stick with cable one as the other options are for people with high end broadband connections. although clicking on them I dont think will hurt as i have done this also.

The ranking level of speed is like this:
T3
T1
Cable/ADSL
Dial up

But it will works when you have at least ADSL connection and your speed is your connection speed, not other side connection speed.

Generally, you can guess the maximium speed by choosing the slowest speed either yours or other side.
