Good Luck! I would suggest reading up on the subject as well as visiting places like this. Take your time and learn at your own pace. Many colleges now offer free beginner computer courses so maybe this will be of help to you. Also try a site called computer active this is a very easy to web site with plain English and is very easy to follow, also has activity's to help you each week. You should then slowly build your confidence up that way. Don't be put off when things go wrong it's the only way to learn is from experience. AND REMEMBER WE ARE ALL HERE TO HELP IF IT GOES WRONG!

Figure out what exactly you need help with - is it a particular thing that you're trying to do, an error message or just something that doesn't make sense? There are a lot of things that you can do with a computer and I could list dozens of 'em right now if I was sadistic and wanted to confuse you, so you need to rephrase your question(possibly pose a few) and ask again once you figure out what you need help with specifically - otherwise, you'll get a lot of answers from a lot of people and it may end up not helping much

Sorry, all I can do is suggest you read the User Manual for the computer, or find a friend who has a computer and ask them to help you. There is too much to try to teach you from here.
You have learnt enough to be able to ask questions... try searching for basic computing tutorials on your home page!!!

You are good:
1. Buy your first computer
2. Log on to Yahoo! Answers
3. Start with your new computer
I had to take it out of the box first.

Good luck! Have lots of patience on standby and keep the kids (if any) out of range while trying to set it up.
