Because she doesn't have the sense God gave a rock.
She is probably hoping the lover and her children bond, so when she finally leaves the husband it's not as "messy".
She's doing a horrible thing to the kids. She's putting them between her and their father. It's just wrong, and it isn't the right them to do to the children.
Of course, she's cheating, so I guess you really can't expect too much from her in the areas os sense, decency, and thoughtfulness.

Because she needs counseling and never had a stable role model in her own childhood. The children are the ones that need the protection more than anything else. Sorry to say, this is a recipe for disaster. Take action, if possible.

She is trying to replace the Dad. If the Farther doesn't know this he needs to ASAP.
Mother does not have all her screws tighten. She needs help.
The Children are in danger of emotional problems.
Start telling the Dad. Don't worry about your friendship with her it is not as important as getting help in their ASAP.

i don't feel its right how ever kids are not stupid if they are old enough they already no their mom is unhappy or in some cases in a abusive relationship and may want their mom to be happy at least they wont get a shocker when it does happen if its that serious between you to if its just a fling then its wrong.

apparently this chick is crazy why harm her kids in this manner she doesn't care about her kids only herself and the lover shouldn't even talk to her kids it's all about the sex between them they don't care about those kids husband should take them and go far away ....
