i ordered some chinese one hour and two minutes ago, and it should have been delivered at least 33 minutes ago. the chinese restaurant is only four kilometers away from my house, and during these times, the traffic isn't so bad. ten minutes ago i called the restaurant and they said that the delivery guy had left ten minutes after i first called. what happened to the delivery guy????

Good day, that's a common occurrence in my neighborhood and there's usually a pattern of when it happens. It is either during peak Lunch or Dinner time. Many Chinese stores have only one or two delivery persons and when more than one order come in, they wait for the other orders and then deliver. Needless to say, this takes a while and there is where we have the delay.
Two things you can do, analyze when they take a long time and try to avoid those hours or find another Chinese place. I know Chinese food is too good to give up all together...so if there isn't another Chinese place... Give ample time for delivery *smile*

1) They forgot your order and they are merely giving excuse.It's common for Chinese restaurant to do that.I'm Chinese,I know.
2) The guy lost his way.
3) He ran into an accident.
4) They got the wrong address.
Call again to check and you should stock up some instant cup noodles at home...

i would call back and demand to have coupons for free takeout and your not paying for your meal now! i had to deal with that one time.... me and my 2 kids ordered pizza and it took 3 hours for them to drive 5 miles i was not happy and made the maniger listen to my screaming crying kids and that i keep calling every 5 min to inconvenece them!
