If a Pitcher pitches a complete game but the team loses 1-0 because of an unearned run. Does the pitcher still get a loss?

Even though its not an earned run, it is still a run charged to the pitcher, thus he loses. Check out 10.19 e on this link...

i might want to assert it really is an unearned run for both. If the runner is going from 2d to domicile on a unmarried that basically would not appear like it would want to be earned. the 2d project back appears like an unearned run. First because the catcher threw away the ball, allowing the runner to enhance a base, then he scored on a sac fly through tagging. So he by no skill would have tagged up if the catcher did not throw away the ball.

My guess would be yes. If you think about it, the pitcher is responsible for that runner getting on base in the first place, so some burden of the loss rests on the pitcher.

he gets a loss on his stats he it will be recorded as a run it just wont affect his is ERA but yes he would still get the loss if he was the only pitcher of record, if it was a no decision that would he didnt pitch a complete game so it is deff a -loss-

Only earned runs count against his ERA, but it's the TOTAL amount of runs allowed that counts when determining the winning/losing pitcher.
Just like if a reliever came into a game in a tie game. Suppose its bottom of the ninth...the batter reaches on error...steals second...advances on sac bunt...and scores winning run on sac fly, the reliever would get the loss.

yes, someone has to even if it is unfair. it evens out because pitchers are credited with wins in games they do not pictch very well in all the time.
