1 = 1
2^0 = 11^0
2 = 11
1+1 = 11
This is the mathematical answer but in real life,
Alone 2 people cannot do much work, but unifying them(1+1) can do work equivalent to what 11 seperate people can do.

Get married and have 9 babies LOL. Other than that I am not sure because I should be sleeping so too much of a strain on my brain. I am interested to know the right answer to that though. (I guess that would be why I don't own a successfull business though huh? although we are on our way to making 1+1 = 11 as I described, 1+1 may only =6 in our case LOL.)

If this is a question in your course, the answer should probably be "By using the roman number system."
Another solution could be to use a base-1 number system, which is only using one symbol, so that:
0= (An empty space)
1=1
2=11
3=111
4=1111
and so on

Concantenation instead of addition. Not uncommon newbie programmer mistake.
Or, if you want to get an understanding of how you can break the laws of addition, read "1984" by George Orwell. In it he discusses how you can make 2 + 2 = 5.
