grea at giving advice, but useless at taking it and even more useless at following it, duh!!!!!!

yeah don't feel bad, and don't listen to all the negative answers u got on here....we are all like that, never listen to advice but always Ready to give advice, been there done that, keep giving Ur advice cause it will always be useful to someone, about taking advice well we take it always but can't seem to listen till its to late , its life sweaty... that's all....

It is a universal problem.
Sometimes it is easier to see another's problems clearly whereas one's own get clouded by so many different issues.
I am the same as you and my reasoning for not following other people's advice is that when it is all over, I am the one who has to live with the results, so I accept the blame and go on right ahead, no matter what conflicting advice that I get.

Generally people tend to follow the advise that matches what they actually wanted to do anyway. A woman/man that asks friends if they should break up with a bf/gf, will continually ask all of their friends until he/she gets the answer they want to hear.
I think a lot of people ask for advice just to reaffirm their predetermined decisions.

it is the human natural as there are many people who give a good advices for the others but unfortunately they don't take by it to help themself

I don't know, but I am the same. Maybe you should listen, to yourself as well as everyone else. Maybe when you give advice you are really giving it to yourself as well.

It's fun to give advice!! Everyone thinks what they say is important (and it is to them) and since our advice is so good why should we take anyone elses? lol.
