I think that depends on where you live... I think being a girl in America is better than being a boy. Here's why. Even though girls get periods they:
- Can use they're look more than guys can to get what they want, and be smart and respected at the same time.
- Grade school and highschool today usually favor girls more than guys.
- If a woman goes to jail, she most likely won't be gang raped by other women the feirce and violent way many guys do by other men. A man going to jail many times is a death sentence no matter what the crime. Not true for women.
- In a divorce and child custody, women are usually favored in court.
- Girls don't have to do much in the dating game but look pretty and choose which guy she will let into her life. Guys have to do all the work of approaching and convincing.
- Girls have more clothing styles to choose from than men. For men it's either hip hop clothes, flamboyant gay clothes, boring business look, or cowboy levis style.
-Girls aren't rediculed for their sexuality as guys are, including being gay/bi.or straight.
-Girls have more choices with hair style, guys get rediculed if it doesn't fit certain guidelines.
-Girls can usually get away with sexual harassment, guys usually can't.
-Girls overall can express themselves more and be respected for it. Guys get redicule for expressing their emotions.
-Most people today respect women as caring, more nurturing, guys are percieved as mindless brutes who care only about death and destruction.
-Women are precieved as being great mothers, guys are seen as being terrible fathers.
-Women precieved as being for happiness, men precieved as the causes of wars.
etc etc.
If this were a different country where it favors men, I'd rather be a man in those places. I wish the world treated the sexes more equal, because then it wouldn't matter what sex you are, no one would have it any more easier than the other. But thats not the way it is right now, no matter how pretty the picture some may paint it out to be.

I think it's great to be a female. My list of reasons:
1. We can sustain human life in the womb for 9 months
2. We can feed that baby for several months to years afterwards on the nourishment we provide.
3. We have the right to mood swings
4. We have the right to chocolate
5. We can wear the most extravagant outfits without, eyebrows being raised.
6. We have the more artistically sculpted body (matter of opinion on my part)
7. We can shop like crazy and go nuts without tired feet (maybe, because men don't get the practice)
8. lingerie
9. purses (they are so handy)
10. Less pressure to be the family provider

I think it's better to bring out the most of one's talents, capabilities and wisdom regardless of gender ..may you be a boy or born a girl and really make a difference in every sense of the word.

I'm a guy, and I would have to say that it is easier being a boy than it is being a girl.
It seems to me that the female gender got the raw end of the deal, with all they have to go through with periods, menopause, and the like.

I am a girl but I will say it's better to be a boy bcuz when a boy give his pennie inside the girls vagena the girl be hurt not the boy.Got it.Do one time sex then you will understand.

I'm a man. I was taught at an early age that a man's worth is reflected by how hard of a worker he is. A man works, and earns his way until the day he dies.
I think if I had been born an attractive woman I would have never worked a day in my entire life.

Of course to be a girl. You will never lose out in anything. A little bit of tears and you will get most of your things. When you did something wrong or in a mood swing, then menstral cycle would be your excuse. And bla bla bla......

Hands down a girl! unless of course you are hiking in the woods and have to pee without a toilet in sight....while we COULD squat boys do get the gold star for this.

I would much rather be a girl cuz u have that whole multiple thing going on I only get one then I gotta take a break get a smoke and something to drink... its a pain!

Personally, I love being a female. I'm thankful God made me a female.
I don't think it's "better" to be male or female.
