Having sex (coitus) with a woman during menstruating is physically and medically no different then when she's not. There are personal, culture, and religious reasons someone might choose to abstain from sexual activity though.
If you're asking if you need to use a condom or not, that really depends on the relationship you have with your partner. Your decision to use protection should no different then if she was not menstruating.
A woman is least likely to get pregnant during her period but, it is not impossible. In addition, there are studies indicating women may be more likely to contract or transmit an STD when they have their periods. (e.g. Hepatitis, HIV/AIDS, PID)

yes you can. It can be a bit messy so I would advise laying down a towel, or perhaps doing it in the shower. The sensations both of you will feel will be different than normal sex and you may both find that you like it. Also some women claim that it helps relieve cramping. Be warned though women can be more fertile while on their menstral cycle. With that said please use proper methods of birth control, preferably a condom.

Make sure there isn't a medical issue that could be scary exp, aids or hepitites. Since you are dealing with the blood directly I would think it could be a little more risky doing that time of month. May sure you use protection.

SURE!!!! its messy but put a towel under her butt, or better yet in the shower is great, most women will pause in bleeding while in water!!! many women find that they are more sensitive during thier period you may like it!!!!!! i would wait a day or two after she starts as the bleeding is usually heavier in the beginning!!!

Yes it's safe. May be uncomfortable for her in the first couple of days if she has cramps. If you're worried about a bit of blood, do it in the shower.

Yes, you can with the mess, or you can wait a week and don't have to worry about the mess. Think what will make her more comfortable.
