Me and my fiance want to go to europe for a weekend before we move to the USA (in England at the moment) and we've narrowed it down to these 3 places. It'll be our final trip to Europe and want it to be special. I also want a place with a lot of photo ops - any suggestions? we need to book it today! Thanks

i would go for salzburg - this year is the celebration of Mozart (he was born there) and all city is nicely decorated, its simply lovely. there is this super romantic castle in the middle of the city, outstanding good food and simply the flair of Austria... Helsinki is too cold in these days (you are already in England ... :-) Copenhagen is also great, but runs only second due to this special celeberation summer in Salzburg - this does not come back soon .... (maybe if you wait another 250 yrs :-)

I haven't been to Helsinki but I have been to Salzburg and I live in Copenhagen. I do think Salzburg is really pretty but it is small. Copenhagen does have a lot to see really. But it also depends when you are going. If you go soon then i think you might like Copenhagen although it has been raining lately so check the weather. The parks here are really pretty and there are lots of pretty churches. We all so have lots of cute little streets. I went up to this church with a dome on it the other day and you could see the whole city! what a view. Although when I think about it from a perspective of getting lots of good pics in one weekend then I would actually pick Salzburg first because it is small and you can see a lot in a short time. It is really romantic too in you stay out of beer halls. Salzberg has the Merabella Gardens, the 2 Mozart houses, the Old Fortress, and all the old cathedrals. Plus lots of cute little photo graphic corners. Have fun!

So unfortunate you don't have the time to visit Athens!!!!
Well, all prospective places are fine! I would prefer them in the order: Copenhagen - Helsinki - Salzburg!
