Yes, two years is a lifetime in some sports. Without her endorsement money, all the fancy training will fall aside, and then she'll be like the rest of us,scanning through Runner's World and ol George Sheehan books trying to figure out the magic of fast running.

It is really getting interesting isn't it? Alot of the top sprinters are finally getting caught after years of denial. the karma will be shattering for them.

Not sure there should be one standard punishment Gotti. I suppose each case has to be judged individually.As far as "nothing but a big misunderstanding," that term is being over used of late. As you mentioned before, the pressure world class athletes are under to perform is phenomenal. Don't know what the answers are, but every country's athletes should abide by the same rules. Perhaps a very harsh punishment is in order for the first proven violation in order to curtail such activities. It is just sad a reputation is tarnished.

Endorsements are everything to the modern day athlete...
Yes 2 years is long enough for a ban....2 years would seem like a lifetime and could easily ruin or at least affect the athlete in his or her best years providing they have reached their peak at the time of the ban...good question.
