I've read it, and thought it was brilliant, he wrote another one called Parrot in a Pepper Tree, and that was good too. I'd recommend it!

I read this about 2 years ago. I confess it wasn't the kind of book i would normally read, but hey i like lemons and thought I'd give it a go. I found it quite informative, although i was never tempted to go live in Spain (it was Spain wasn't it?) It gave interesting insights into another culture, and how they coped in that shack of a house. I read it in about three days, but don't feel inspired to read anymore of his books.
