There is going to be two models produced, one cheaper than the other...the cheaper model will be 300.00 to 400.00, and the more expensive, around 500.00, mind you this estimate is only an approximation. why dont you contact stores that sell sony products, and find out the correct prices.

Last I checked it was a whopping 600.00 dollars, which if they don't drop that price dramatically, I'm not buying it no matter how many good games are on it. That price is laughable, concidering the fact that most systems today don't even have more than 10 great games by the time they reached two years of being out. Even Neo Geo had many great games and it was 700.00.

There will be two models of the PS3: one with 20gb and no HDTV support as well as no Wi-fi, this model will cost $499, the other model has 60gb, Wi-fi and HDTV support and will cost $599

$599 - Dont worry Sony says its being sold too cheaply :-P
The magor cost involved is the BlueRay player which hsanothing to do with gaming. Go out and by a XBox 360 AND Wii for the same price as ONE PS3.
