The median income for the United States is somewhere around $50,000 a year which should be considered middle class. Lower class is more of a thought pattern if you earn more than $30,000 a year. The upper class is usually considered a yearly salary over $100,000. Most people in the United States tend to think that they are poorer than they actually are. Also, they try to think that the middle class should have the same lifestyle as the rich.

I guess you could say that I am in the lower class of living in the USA. I don't have a lot of money! I do have an air conditioned house, a nice car, and a fast Internet connection. I can't describe what is middle and upper class. That is tough!
