Okay, after all the f* you's and the thumbs down, I really want to know.
Look at any of the categories News, Current Events, Politics, Government, Society, Culture, Travel and you will always find at least one question about Israel, muslims, God, terrorism.
I know it's a hot topic right now, in Europe it is too, but I hardly see any questions about AIDS in South Africa, genocide in Rwanda or migrants in Spain. While these too are frontpage items on all the big news websites.
Maybe it's not just an American thing, but somehow it seems that way.

It's just our media. AIDS, genocide and migrants to Spain just don't appeal to the average American citizen. Our involvement in Iraq is our number one priority and that is what we focus on. Religon and war are obviously tied into that.
Actually, Jon Benet Ramsey's killer is actually more popular. Sad isn't it?

This site was started by Americans and American culture is the dominate world culture whether you want to believe it or not.

The others are an easier topic to argue with. People here are either looking for an answer to a serious question or they are looking to argue. You really can't argue with AIDS needing to be cured.

I dont really know if they are, i think its more the world that thinks this.
