My son has shown an interest in the Nintendo Wii. I know its not out yet but does anyone have any information on it?

Get some of those vidoes watched, especially ones that show the person using the 'controller' , it looks a hell of a lot of fun for young and old and I for one have already placed my pre-order.
It will be released before Christmas, the month will be decided by where in the World you live.

Its the next game console from Nintendo. Its special feature is its controll pad. It acts like a wand. Imagine a tv remote that reacts to movement and you get the idea. For example, in a tennis game you swing the controller and the person on screen swings his racket. In golf games the controller acts as a club that you can swing. In a shooting game you can aim the pad like a gun! Check out Nintendo's own website. My view is that it will be a great machine as it changes the way you play games.

I'ts going to be the cheapest next gen console around with some quality games and a fun motion sensor controller which actually allows you to "interact" with game simply than just sitting down and playing. Take playing a Tennis game for example you'd be standing up using your controller like a raquet.

It's like the Gamecube with slightly better graphics capabilities. The controller looks like a remote. It's supposed to include a lot of old games. That's all I know.
