After many tries, your finger is probably too sowllen now. Wait a couple of hours for the swelling to subside. Then using luke warm water and dishsoap, turn the ring from left to right to ensure that the soapy water gets under the ring. Very gently and carefully pulland rotate the ring off your finger.
If this does not work, then I am afraid you will have to get the ring cut off your finger.
Goodluck!

In addition to all these other wonderful suggestions, try putting your hand above your head so the blood flows away from your hand. Also run your finger under cold water while you have soap.. Good luck, I did have to have a ring cut off my finger once. It wasn't pleasant.

Put the hand with the ring on it inside a bucket of warm water for about an hour. Your hand will go all wrinkly and will shrink a bit so you can get it off. I was in a shop once and I was trying on a ring that cost a bomb, and it took me ages to get it off. I just thought that I'd mention that.

Baby oil, or any type of vegetable or cooking oil.
Try soaking your finger or hand in cold water or ice for just a few seconds. Usually soap and cold water make mine come off.

After attempting to get it off for a while, you're finger has probably swollen. Run it under some ice cold water for a while then try KY lotion or dish soap. That's how a hospital will try before having to clip it off.

I was actually out ring shopping last week and my finger was so swollen after the lady stuck like 50 rings on my finger that one was just a little tight. so then she attacks me with windex and the ring slide right off. she says this works every time, but mine wasn't as stuck as much yours sounds.

I agree with the cold water suggestion. Putting you finger in water as cold as you can get will shrink your finger a little.
Dissolve about 2-3 table spoons of salt in water with ice cubes then work it off with mineral oil. Don't pull it twist it in the same direction til you get past your knuckle.

That's a question I contemplated.
Seeing the above answers, I expected to get "Cut the finger off".
Predictable.
I believe your joint has grown since having the ring on, and requires a jeweler with special tools to remove it.

Don't wait any more. Go to a nearby Jewellery shop and get it removed. Those people are quite used to doing these things. This ring might cause you more trouble, by blocking blood flow, if not removed at the earliest.
