so starting back on my bc pills should assist me in losing pounds i gained after discontinuing bc pills?

Not sure what the question is exactly.

Most people find they gain some weight while on birth control pills. (like 10 lbs or so). My doctor insists that's not proven, but I believe so from personal experience.
