i really like this guy,but we are only friends, and i think he likes me too, but i over hered him talking, and he said he wants a relationship. i dont know if thats what i want to, should i talk to him and see what happen

Of course thats what you should do. But if you're not 100% sure about starting a relationship with him, then wait and give it some more thought. Always remember, friendships that go to the next level often don't last if you and when you break up.

Ask yourself what this guy means to you. Are you comfortable in his company ? Does he amuse you and keeps your spirit high ? Does his thought bring a smile to your lips ? If the answer is yes... IF u like him and he likes u, give a shot. Just lay down some rules. Like if things dont work out, we could just friends. Never talk about our intamacy with others that might make fun of our situation. Things like that but anyways take achance on him.

Talk to him and see what happens especially if you don't know what you want...If you like him as much as you say you probably do want a relationship, just take it slow, see what happens and don't die wondering.
