Massage you temples medium pressure FOUR circles!
I heard a spoon on the temple would press on a nerve running up the side of the head at the temple.
My dog got hiccups one day and I didn't want to try the spoon thing, but I liked the logic so I adapted it!
I rubbed both of Tatum's temples in a circle four times using medium pressure. It's worked on her twice so far.
At the store, two customers came in at separate times but both had hiccups. A little boy ran up and told us he had hiccups. I told his mama my cure and it worked for that boy too!
They a teen girl and her dad came in. I said How are You? He said Fine until she got sick. Turned out she had hiccups too! Viola! Two cases cured in one day. She was actually kicking up her heels to be cured! The little boy missed the attention he wanted to get by having hiccups!

My favorite cure that works every time is (it takes two):

Take a deep breath then have someone press their hands over your ears and then you drink about 6 ounces of water or liquid of any kind (hands still over ears). Finish drinking the water and have the person remove their hands.

I've won lots of bets on whether or not this works. It always does, but I don't know why.

Taking as deep a breath as I can, then massaging my belly just below the sternum( the diaphragm area). It seems to help the spasms go away. Works every time for me.
