Why did I ask?

I'm just wondering if anyone actually likes doing that for a living. I'm an inquisitive person.

Yes. In fact I know a few of my friends who do. Why do you ask?

No. Most of my friends are now HS teachers, but their original dreams fell through.

I never met anyone who "dreamed" to be one. It seems like a fallback job when nothing else pans out. Not to say that many teachers are unhappy teaching HS, but I'm sure most did not plan on being a HS teacher. However, nothing wrong with more HS teachers. Pretty thankless job even if they only work 9 months a year.
