do you think that JIMMY JOHNSON or GEORGE BEST was better. I think that liked them both, but i am gonna say that jimmy johnson is who i liked better cos he was glaswedgien, an i am from around glasgow. they were both very good players though, what do you think???

I never did see either of them play live.
I may be biased as I am a Glasgow Celtic fan but I do believe that Jimmy Johnstone was the best player ever in the UK.
George Best was a fantastic player too but I do think Jimmy was better.
To the person tht said David Beckham - He isn't fir to lace either of these great players boots up - there really is no comparison.

GEORGE BEST no doubt sure the man could beat a team on his own DENNIS LAW and BOBBY CHARLTON used to shout at him pass the ball george .and no matter who tripped him up he always got to his feet and headed towards the goal.and never tried to get a player sent off .players in those days were players and had more respect for each other .JIMMY JOHNSON WAS A GOOD ONE ,but compard to BEST no CONTEST.
