It depends largely on where you get your undergraduate degree and your MD.

To become an anesthesiologist, you have to obtain both a bachelor's degree and a Medical Doctorate. At most 4 year nationally accredited universities, an Undergrad education costs anywhere from $6000 to $50,000 a year.

After that you have to go to medical school- the average debt coming out of medical school is somewhere in the neighborhood of $60,000 and up.

Luckily, because the procedures they have to do are very high-risk, anesthesiologists are on the upper end of the pay scale for medical professionals.

I would SPELL it ridiculous! Then do a prosperity spell to pay for it!

I'd search the net for Cali schools to find out if I were you. But I am not, so I will stick to my SPELLing.

If you can't even spell it, I don't want you in charge of my life. That profession is one where you are charged with bringing a person as close to death as possible without killing them. It requires a modicum of intelligence which I hope includes spelling the name of the profession.

Anaesthesiology is a branch of medicine. Thus, you have to take the whole course of medicine and be a real doctor. Then you will have to go through internship... then residency in anaesthesiology.
