Liberated from what?
We aren't all in jail, so we're liberated in that way.
We are free to think and say what we please, and that's a type of liberation.
We have legal protection from reproductive slavery, so there's that.
What are you asking? Are we free from having to follow the rules or wind up in prison? Nope. Can we do anything we want without consequences? I don't think so. We aren't liberated from the laws of physics, or from viruses or societal expectations, though we may choose to pay no attention to them.
Your question is too vague to answer without listing every freedom and every constraint under which American women live. Besides, we aren't all the same.

Well, consider there is still a glass ceiling. Remember the vice presidential nominee lady's Democratic convention speech in the 1980s about the fact that women earn a fraction of what their male counterparts earn on the job? Well, I'm afraid there hasn't been a stunning amount of progress on that front.
Also, consider that America is conservative when compared to a bunch of countries in Europe.

Yeah. Sometimes they even get more power than the men becuase everyone's so touchy about women's rights and it's so easy for them to manipulate men.
