Since I get about 4-6 hours of sleep a night on average (ahh the life of a college student), if I even get a chance to nap in the afternoon, it's usually a 1-3 hour nap, depending on how much sleep I lacked the night before.

A coworker and I once had an in depth discussion on naps verses sleep. We came to the conclusion that 4 hours or more is sleeping, less than 4 hours is a nap. This of course, was discussed during a very monotonous job that offered exorbitant amounts of time to discuss important issues, like naps.
Anyway...oddly enough there have been occasions when I have napped for 10 minutes or so and felt completely refreshed.
Generally, I nap anywhere from 10 minutes to 2 hours.

At most i sleep maybe 3 hours. But i never get to really take a nap per say, It's either my gf or my children interrupting me with things that they want from me, so i get only 11/2 hours if I'm lucky. But hey that's life. Just remember that you can rest when your dead, so while your alive go for the gold because there is so much to do and so little time to do it in.

I consider it a nap when you fall asleep inadvertently during the day.
Sometimes if I haven't been getting enough sleep, and I wake up to early on a Saturday morning, I might fall asleep at 10 in the morning and not get up till 11 O'clock the next morning.
I have literally stayed in bed on many occasions for twenty hours at a time without being awake for more than fifteen minutes at any given time.
Those are good naps.
I love to sleep.

Usually about 30 minutes. If I nap longer than that I can't sleep at night.

I usually nap for about 30 min. around 7 pm -- but they say it is best to just nap for 20 min. otherwise you mess up your internal clock and then you will have a difficult time falling asleep at night.

Sometimes 90 minutes, sometimes 2 hours. It depends on how much sleep my body needs to catch up on.
