What about using Icy Hot?
Ibprofin is really the best non-perscription medication for things like sore muscles, but if you can't take that, then I'd go with Aleve (Naproxen) or Tylenol (Acetemenophin).
You can also try ice for half an hour, then a heating pad for half an hour, and bounce back and forth.

did you get yourself xray'd to make sure nothing was broken? if you arent broken, herbal or homeopathic medicines will help a bit but since it has already been over 48 hours since your injury, it may take a little longer for you to feel relief.
look up natural pain relievers in your search engine--that might give you some answers.
you may also try a holistic healer. they have all sorts of goodies that could probably help you out.
good luck

I would immediately buy a powerful strength of Bromelain enzyme, (all natural) or serrapeptase high-strength to stop pain & inflammation. They work. No side-effects. I would NEVER take chemical drugs. They are poison to the body.

Herbal medicine (ie. crushed ginger with a little coconut oil wrapped by a bandage on the injured/sprain area of the body).
